The FCT Minister, Malam Mohammed Musa Bello and the USA Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard commissioned a new American Space in Abuja on Thursday 12 March, 2020 at the City Library, Zone 4, Wuse, Abuja.

The Space will host a variety of educational and cultural programs to empower young Nigerians with innovative and life changing programs. It also houses a wide selection of English Language learning tools, including extensive online databases and an e-library. All services, programs and resources at the American Space Abuja are FREE and open to the public.

The Hon. Minister said the establishment of the new American Space was a demonstration of the cordial relation between Nigeria and the United States of America. He commended the American Embassy in Nigeria for the initiative, assuring its sustainability.
