Heads of ICT in FCT Education Boards and Departments Discusses Ways of Channeling e-Education in FCT

In a bid to improve and effectively deploy the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in quality service delivery in Education Sector, the Heads of ICT of Boards and Departments under the Education Secretariat held a meeting on 3rd March, 2020 at the Conference room of the Department of Policy, Planning, Research & Statistics (DPPR&S) Asokoro. The meeting was to discuss measures towards integrating ICT into Educational Management at all levels of Education in the FCT.

The Meeting discussed measures of championing the cause of starting e-education in the FCT. They develop a template for ICT need analysis which will be used to test run the pilot project.
In attendance were various heads of ICT from all Education Boards and Departments. The meeting was hosted by the Director DPPR&S, Dr. Mohammed Sani Ladan who was represented by the Deputy Director ICT, Mr. Paul N. Musa.

At the end of meeting, the HOD M&E thanked the participants for the encouraging attendance and urged them to continue to work together by harmonizing all activities in order to move Education Secretariat forward.
