The quarterly meeting of the Heads of Planning Research and Statistics (PRS) of Boards and Departments under the Education secretariat on annual reporting of activities has been held at the Department of Policy, Planning, Research and Statistics (DPPR&S).
In his opening remarks, the Director, DPPR&S, Dr. Mohammed Sani Ladan welcomed all participants to the meeting and emphasized on the importance of prompt reporting of activities carried out by the Boards and Departments as early submission to the Education Secretariat will enable proper planning and implementation of Education activities.

The HOD M&E at the DPPR&S, Mr. Abraham O. Adeyi also explained to the Heads of PRS that requests were earlier sent to the Boards & Departments to submit report of activities to the Department and the reason for the Meeting was to present their reports.
Presentations of reports then commenced by the various Boards and Departments. Observations and necessary corrections were made for onward submission to Education Secretariat.
At the end of meeting, the HOD M&E thanked the participants for the encouraging attendance and urged them to continue to work together by harmonizing all activities in order to move Education Secretariat forward.
